Early May and I joined Terry and Sara from the Photographic Society to spend the day wandering the banks of the Thames as it passes through Henley. There weren’t many rowers around but we did see plenty of other activity both on and off the water from our start/finish point at the River and Rowing Museum.
In the morning there was bright sunlight and contrasty shadows and in the afternoon it clouded over providing some softer light.
All shots taken with Nikon D750 and a mixture of 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 and 70-300mm f4.5-5.6. I even gave my circular polarizer a spin which helped with some of the reflections and enabled the longer exposures for the flowing water.
