Spent a lovely morning with our two flat coated retrievers, Iggy and River, walking through the Holywell Estate to raise awareness and money for the Canine Partners charity.

Word had circulated on social media prior to going but we were surprised and delighted to meet up with other members of River’s family and their owners comprising: Emmie (her Grandmother),  Mollie (her Mother)  and her sisters Xenna and Isla. Jack, another young flattie we have known for some time, joined the happy group.

The estate was beautiful and the wander through the bluebell festooned woods was really special with many dozens of dogs leading the way.

It was a bright and sunny morning which made for some fairly harsh contrast in the open but under the shade of the trees the light was glorious.

All shots were taken using natural light with the D7000 and 70 - 300 mm f4.5 - 5.6, and of course I needed fast shutter speeds to keep up with the excitable dogs!
