365 Project

I am making a photograph a day as a way to help me see the world more clearly and appreciate the colours, textures and forms in the details all around me in everyday life.

I began this project on 16 April 2016, the first day of a workshop holiday at Cortijo Romero,  Alpujarras, Spain on Mindful Photography led by Ken Scott.

My inspiration came from the workshop and its mindfulness principle of “paying attention on purpose in the moment without judgement” and from Ken himself who has created and then extended his own 365 project into many years and many thousands of photographs.

I am enjoying the experience of noticing things and making pictures from them.

I have included a sample of my work from the project on this page with the full set of pictures here..

I believe it is a valuable discipline that any photographer should try.
